Earlier (during early decades of the twentieth century), it was an expansive summer palace of Sir Ganga Singhji, one of the greatest Maharajas of Bikaner. Hotel is located at distance of just a 30-minute drive from Bikaner. Gajer palace’s legacy is not limited to the rich history and sublime accommodation but due to the private wildlife sanctuary located within its vicinity and home to the endangered species like black buck, Neelgai, Chinkara amongst other varieties of animals. Originally used as the hunting preserves by the Maharaja’s, the fort has been renovated and converted into a modern day hotel while making sure that the royal touch remains embedded.
